Bakırköy Ruh ve Sinir Hastanesi Yerleşke Projesi

Bakırköy Ruh ve Sinir Hastalıkları hastanesinin alanı için konsept proje hastane yönetimi tarafından talep edilen varyasyonların ve saha dinamiklerinin analizini içeren bir süreç projesidir. Parametrik modelleme araçları ile çoklu senaryolar üzerinden alan potansiyellerinin belirlenmesidir. Hasta sirkülasyonunun irdelenmesinden yeşil alanların tesbitine kadar bir dizi araştırma yürütüldü.Proje kapsamında İngiltere’de örnek hastane ziyaretleri yapıldı. Varolan fiziki şartların yetersizliği ve değişen hastane normları ile bu 1500 yataklı kampüsün psikiyatri terapi mekanlarının yeniden yorumlanması gerekti.

Masterplan project Adjacent to the major airport, Bakırkoy Psychiatric Hospital is situated in a 90 hectares of its urban parcel, together with critical neighbors like an ambulance call center, a Byzantine remnants and a women prison. It is a giant cul-de-sac, offering vast green space within a scattered rundown building repository. The managements motivation for redesign and renovation is planed on need for quality of built space, contemporary remodeling of the psychiatric healing space. Tuspa has carried on multilevel investigations regarding the site and the program in order to create a platform for discussion and future regeneration for the site. for redevelopment as well as remodeling of the psychiatric healing space.
The site and the program reveal gradients of private/common, open/closed, secure/insecure, acute/emergent, specific/generic. Peculiarities like overhead planes every 15min, dense pine woods of 30hectares and a Byzantium archeological site are undersized by the minute sensibilities of schizophrenia, bi polarities and disorderliness.
Creating a collaborative team of nurses, architects and doctors was the initial reflex to the task.Utilization of parametric modeling techniques was the other critical ingredient. In order to discover the potentialities of the site the team worked out multiple scenarios, created a mesh of investigations that involved patient and personnel statistics, characteristics of the site and modeled parametric design proposals
